E11: Questions Raised By Billy Joel's Piano Man

No song is more identified with Billy Joel than Piano Man (except for maybe some weird fringe groups that are really into We Didn't Start The Fire).  The song seems like a lovely slice of life tune about a struggling musician making his way by playing piano in a bar to largely inattentive patrons. But the song really does bring up a lot of questions. Questions we will raise here, but do nothing whatsoever to answer.
